This is L's new tea set that her G-ma Paul got her for her second birthday. She doesn't know what tea is other than that mama likes to put "Sugar" and "cream" and "tea" in her teacup and pretend to drink it. L likes to have "hot chocolate" or "ice cream" or even, her latest kick, "corn" in her tea cup and eat it with a spoon.
I did fix her hibiscus tea for lunch the other day and tried a lesson on the word of wisdom. "We drink peppermint, and chamomile, and hibiscus tea, but we don't drink green or black or white tea, okay?" She nodds very solemly and says, "Okay." She has no clue what I'm talking about. :-)
